Mint Mobile gives you home internet and a phone plan at a solid discount. | Image by PhoneArena
Quality home internet and a phone plan can usually set you back quite a bit. With many carriers, you're looking at at least $45-$50 per month, and that's only for the home service. But T-Mobile's Mint is now giving you a lot more for your money than you'd expect.

For a limited time, the T-Mobile-owned network operator is giving you not just home internet but also a phone plan for 12 months. You can get unlimited 5G data for both your home and your smartphone, with Mint's download speeds reaching as much as 415 Mbps.
Of course, the carrier isn't limiting your options. If you've already got your phone service covered, Mint offers unlimited home internet plans, with options ranging from three to 12 months.
The best part
If you ask me, the best part about this MINTernet + phone plan bundle is just how affordable it is. For a limited time, the MVNO is allowing you to get both services for just $45/mo. That's $540 for the entire year, paid upfront.
While this may sound pricey at first glance, you're actually saving a massive $300 with this offer. Plus, compared to offers from US Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile, $540/y doesn't seem bad at all.
Over at US Mobile, for example, you'll have to pay at least $72/mo for home internet by Starlink and a phone plan. As for Metro, its home internet plan costs $50/mo ($45/mo with AutoPay), while phone plans start at $40/mo.
In addition, since Mint is giving you a free gateway device, you don't have to pay extra to get one.
Fine print you should know

Overall, Mint Mobile's bundle offer seems more than worth it. But there are some details you should keep in mind before making the final choice.
To begin with, if you use over 50GB/mo in a billing cycle, you may notice slower mobile data speeds for the rest of the month. For the MINTernet solution, the limit is set to 1TB/mo.
Another thing is that you get up to 20GB of hotspot data per month while video is streaming in SD quality.
Additionally, the gateway device is essentially loaned, meaning you'll have to return it once the service ends. If you don't, you'll be subject to a non-return fee.
A winning combo?
Bottom line, while Mint Mobile's MINTernet + phone plan may have its drawbacks, I think the overall package is fantastic. If it sounds like a good offer to you, I recommend acting fast because the promo might expire soon.
