MemoMind AI glasses: classy shapes, practical features, powerful in the background
AI smart glasses don't have to be bulky, awkward, or a privacy issue

MemoMind decided to break that mold. Their first-ever product is the MemoMind One — smart glasses that don’t have a camera by design, not omission. And their philosophy is very clear — the MemoMind One are built to function as everyday, stylish glasses, as is evidenced by the three different designs available, and partnership with Zeiss.
What can the MemoMind One do?
While the MemoMind One doesn't have a camera, they do have microphones, which can pick up context, record and summarize meetings, translate live for you, or help you figure out concepts with a “Q&A mode baked in”.
They also have speakers tuned by Harman AudioEFX installed in the thin temple of the glasses. Open-ear by design, they allow much more interaction with the onboard systems while staying discreet.
Here are all the features that use on-device AI and are free to use, meaning no subscription will ever be required for them:
- Memo AI: use as a regular AI assistant for prompts and queries.
- AI Translator: real-time translation in 26+ languages with two modes — Listen-in and Dialog
- AI Recorder: records meetings or lectures and can output text, summaries, annotations. Input can be set to glasses microphone or phone microphone.
- AI Teleprompter: ultimate cheat code for content creators or presenters. An AI teleprompter with auto-scroll will discreetly feed you your script.
- AI Captions: enhances learning with live subtitles. Includes a Q&A feature where the AI can expand on certain subjects or topics.
- Calendar: Fully integrates with your calendar and to-do lists, and can even incorporate suggested tasks, all in the glasses.
- Idea Notes: a special mode that lets you quickly record a flash-in-the-pan idea, and let AI organize it and surface it at a later time, allowing you to focus on your current work.
- Map: on-screen directions and prompts using Google Maps for walking or cycling.

- AI Long Memory: a system that remembers who said what and when. Memo AI+ combines all the recordings from your meetings and events and builds a comprehensive understanding of context and messaging. You can then, at any point, ask the MemoMind One glasses to fetch the moment a certain decision was made, a date was set, or a plan was drawn out.
- Moments: at the end of every day, the Memo AI will generate a journal entry for you, complete with themes and chapters, plus an AI-generated graphic to complement the mood and events of the day.
- Up Next: the MemoMind One glasses will intelligently surface anything that’s coming up in your calendar and to-do, sure. But Up Next can go beyond that — by extracting intent from conversations you’ve recorded before. No more “Yeah I’ll do it!” -> “Oh, I forgot!”
Full control over privacy, no “secret recordings”
Given that Memo+ leans on real conversations to build its memory, MemoMind has built in a few layers of control over what gets captured and kept.
Secondly, once a Moment is generated, the underlying raw audio and transcript are deleted. Only the AI-generated summary sticks around, and it's yours to manage. You can delete individual Moments, wipe your entire Memo Memory history, or close your account at any time. MemoMind claims none of your recordings, transcripts, or Moments are ever used to train its AI models.
You decide what MemoMind is allowed to remember. Users can exclude entire categories of conversation such as health, financial, personal life, and work.
Designed for everyday wear

Classic shapes - Archive, Nomad, Gotham | Image by MemoMind
The MemoMind One’s focus is very clearly on actually being stylish, practical glasses. They come in three different designs — the square Gotham, round Archive, and round square Nomad — and are customizable with 6 different color finishes
And yes, they support prescription lenses, from Zeiss nonetheless. Fully built to be “regular” everyday glasses first, tech gadgets second.
The simplicity of the screens allows for a thin build closer to a “regular glasses” look. But “simple” doesn’t mean “not powerful”.
The displays and the tech
MemoMind is incubated by XGIMI — a leading global brand with deep history in portable projectors and home cinema projectors.
Leveraging this know-how, the MemoMind One glasses utilizes dual micro-LED projectors that can go up to 2,000 nits of brightness. Visible even out on a summer day.

You can adjust the image to look like it's anywhere between 1 m and 5 m in front of your eyes. By default, the glasses ship set to 2.5 meters.
The green screens also save a lot of power, so you get a lot of time on a single charge. Up to 16+ hours of use, and 5-day standby..
The frames are built with magnesium-aluminum alloy, β-titanium, and acetate, and the glasses weight around 46 g.
