You may want to save the October 4 date for Google's Pixel 3 launch event
It’s all been quiet on the high-profile flagship smartphone release front for the past couple of months (as is often the case during summer), but next week’s highly anticipated Galaxy Note 9 announcement is set to kick off an entire series of exciting events for mobile enthusiasts of all allegiances.

Whether you’re a hardcore Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Google or even Sony fan, you probably have something big to look forward to over the next couple of months. Now, we obviously know the Galaxy Note 9 “Unpacked” date, we can easily guess when Sony might be planning to unveil the Xperia XZ3, and we also have a pretty good idea of Apple’s intentions.

Huawei and Google thus remained the fall’s two biggest question marks in terms of scheduling, but the latter may have (involuntarily) answered that question. In a careless ad posted on online marketing platform FameBit, the search giant let the cat out of the bag, seeking Canadian content creators to promote the Pixel 3 phone on YouTube starting October 4.

The advertising campaign description suggests the Pixel 3 is “launching” October 4, although we’re fairly sure that’s not the actual commercial launch date of the handset, but merely when Google plans to take the wraps off it.

Of course, the Pixel 3 will be joined by a Pixel 3 XL whenever it sees daylight, along with a Pixel Watch (maybe), a pair of second-generation Pixel Buds (most definitely), and an upgraded Pixelbook laptop with “smaller bezels” (almost certainly). Other stuff, like new Google Home smart speakers or a refreshed Daydream View VR headset, is also possible, although we haven’t heard much in terms of reliable gossip.

October 4, by the way, is the exact same date on which the Pixel 2 was announced last year, and the original Pixel the year before that, so today’s leak absolutely rings true.

They're trying to copy Apple's masterpiece, but just can't be done.

Pixel would look better if : - Front of Mate 10 Pro, bezels with size enough to fit speakers. - Rear of A5 2016, just glass

Let's see what Google has up their sleeve. Hopefully Google will make sure to iron out some of the kinks and issues that have plagued the Pixel phones in the past, the ones from people who have actually had experience with the Pixel phones.

Blue from LG or red from Samsung. Not much choice.

IF Google actually fixes the plethora of bugs that have been plaguing the Pixel line, then I may give it look. Definitely won’t be an early adopter. I’ll wait to hear from people and read reviews of those that have actual experience with Pixel smartphones, and not from those that deflect from the real issues that the Pixel line has been facing since the first generation.

Let's be honest here, you aren't even remotely interested in the Pixel phones, so drop the act. There are people who have had positive experience with the Pixel phones, but you turn a deaf ear to them.

Let’s be honest, you don’t own a BlackBerry KEYᵒⁿᵉ or Pixel 2XL, and aren’t interested in Nokia branded smartphones like you pretend to be, so drop the act. There are many people that have suffered from the plethora of issues that plague the Pixel lineup, but you turn a deaf ear to them and deflect from those issues.

A cheap a-- copy paste of what I just said. Man you are getting so predictable. I guess you are a glutton for punishment. I haven't turned a blind eye to the Pixel phones issues, but I'm not going to listen to some second rate guy who only pretends like he knows what he's talking about. I find that experience is far more credible than conjecture from a fake.

You responding negatively to something I said because it’s me that said it is what’s a cheap @$$ copy and paste. You’ve been predictable since way back then. I guess it’s YOU that are the true glutton for punishment, as you’d think that you would have learned your lesson by now. You continually turn a blind eye and deflect from the real issues that the Pixel line has been having, and you don’t even own a Pixel. You’re a pretender, a fake and a phony, who doesn’t even have a clue about which way is up or down, much less know anything about tech. You pretend to have experience when all you really have is fabrications.

No, you copy pasting my responses is what's cheap. A few months ago isn't way back then all conjectures aside. You're just mad because I refuse to prove anything to you because I don't have to, and I don't need to. You think all I have is fabrication. Lol, the only thing fabricated here is you calling yourself a genius. Should have just stuck to being a geek.

No, you responding to my comment complete with rage and fury is what’s cheap. And it was way back when with one of your many accounts, that everyone knows you have. You can quit fabricating in an attempt to make others believe you just got here a few months ago. No one believe you. You’re just mad that you CAN’T provide proof, and because I know you can’t. All you have IS fabrications. Everyone knows about your many now banned accounts. You may call yourself venom after SpiderMan’s nemesis, in an effort to hide your real identity, but everyone knows that you’re really the imp named mxyzptlk and I’m the Superman that you can’t get out of your head.

I've never cared one way or another about notches, though that is clearly saying "Yep, we got a notch alright!". Nothing shy about that notch. I will be interested to hear what else the new phone offers. How they are keeping up in the camera wars mainly.

Why even bother making a notch phone since they are so late into the notch hype other companies are actually moving away from this design. It's very disappointing that Google is actually making a stupid phone with a notch it's so boring design.
