Samsung just pulled the wraps off its new foldable lineup. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 both cost $100 more than their already-expensive predecessors. The adorable Fold 8 also feels a tad overpriced for what it offers. If price were no object, though, they are solid productivity powerhouses that make routine usage a lot more fun. Lucky for T-Mobile users, the steep prices aren't going to be an issue.

T-Mobile gets mercilessly criticized for its Re-carrier antics, but moments like this remind us why it remains the nation's number two carrier.
Foldable devices were already expensive, and this new price hike would put them out of reach for many customers if not for carrier promos. Letting you walk away with a near-$2,000 gadget for $200 or less is T-Mobile's way of showing why no MVNO can truly replace it.
