Xiaomi Mi Note 2 to be released on November 5th?
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to be the sequel to the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro. The latter is one of the highest spec'd models to come from Xiaomi's camp. According to tipster @Leaksfly, the Mi Note 2 will continue to feature top-shelf specs. On his Weibo site, @Leaksfly says that the phablet will feature a 5.7-inch, 1440 x 2560 resolution screen. That works out to a 515ppi pixel density.

The Mi Note 2 is rumored to include 4GB of RAM, along with 32GB of internal memory. We could see Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on board, along with a 16MP rear camera. Android 6.0 might be pre-installed. The tipster adds that the Mi Note 2 will have a metal build, with support for 4G LTE connectivity.

A November 5th release is mentioned, which means that the phone could be outed too early to be powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset. A MediaTek Helio X20 chip, like the MT6797, might end up powering the phone until next year. That SoC carries a deca-core CPU. One the calendar turns to 2016, we might see another variant of the Mi Note 2 with the Snapdragon 820 inside.

Thanks for the tip!

The sad, cold truth. But hey, companies like Meizu is eyeing the American market, so we might see something in the upcoming years.

Why should not they release this with the Helio and then in March the Pro version? Double profit... And then Mi fans can not say, that they do not launch any high end devices since March this year.
