Windows Phone's Siri-esque "Ask Ziggy" is re-designed
Back when 2012 was fresh and new, we examined "Ask Ziggy", a Siri-esque voice activated/personal assistant for Windows Phone powered smartphones. With Nuance's voice technology behind it, the app originally used a Siri-like UI. Since then, there have been some changes made to Ziggy, which will be included in an updated version to be released in a few days. This update will include the incorporation of a more Metro looking interface with chat bubbles.
Other changes include more features such as the ability to use your location to get weather updates, better search results and local time. The updated "Ask Ziggy" version 2.0 will be able to set a reminder by opening an alarm and setting a Live Tile, call people, show you your appointments in the calendar for any date upon request, and more.
To see what "Ask Ziggy" will look like when the update is launched, click on the video below. The updated app should still be free in the Windows Marketplace. In the meantime, you can install the current version of the app until version 2.0 is live.
