Wednesday's News Bits
- Live images reveal a "merlot" color T-Mobile myTouch 3G. So far, we’ve seen the second Android phone in either black or white, but some leaked photos now reveal a merlot variety might come out as well. We totally like the idea, as this color gives it a fancy look.
- The Nokia N97 and N96 have gotten software updates. The one for the N97 updates it to version 11.X.021 and should add more stability to the system, including e-mail, imaging, USB detection, widgets and interface transitions. On the other hand, the N96’s software can now be updated to version 30.033, which seems to optimize the system’s overall performance.
- Nokia Messaging v10.00.14 is now available for download. This version adds support for the Samsung Omnia HD; however, it is still unclear what new stuff it comes with. Check this page for the full list of supported devices.

Unfortunately, except for their presence on the system, other details like a scheduled release date or price seemed to be unavailable.
