Verizon starts rolling out Moto Z2 Force Android 9.0 Pie update
If you happen to own an unlocked Moto Z2 Force, chances are that your phone has already been updated to Android 9.0 Pie. Unless you live in the United States where AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile said they will not offer Moto Z2 Force owners the long-awaited Android 9.0 Pie update.

The good news is Verizon is playing nice with its customers and announced the Moto Z2 Force Android 9.0 Pie is now rolling out to everyone. Last month, Motorola confirmed the Android 9.0 Pie update for the Moto Z2 Force will come with 5G mod support in the US.

Unfortunately, the changelog published by Verizon today doesn't mention anything about 5G mode support, although that doesn't mean that it's not there after the update. We do get a complete list of new features and improvements included in this update, such as the July security patch, the new Intuitive Navigation and Recent App, the improved DND (Do Not Disturb) mode, as well as longer battery life and revamped split-screen.

The update can be downloaded via Wi-Fi or the Verizon Wireless network, but make sure you have enough free storage since this is a very large update. For more details on the update, you can check out Verizon's support page.
