Unlocked HTC One A9s hits the shelves in the UK, up for grabs for £278
The HTC One A9s is basically MIA for a long time after its been unveiled back in September. The Taiwanese company introduced the mid-range smartphone at IFA 2016, but it took a few months to make it available in the UK.

The good news is starting this week, the HTC One A9s is available for purchase at Carphone Warehouse. Customers can pick this one up for just £12.50 per month with any UK carrier and no upfront price.

Obviously, there are other pricing options available as well, so it depends on what you're looking for. For the minimum amount mentioned, you get 250 minutes, 5,000 texts, and 500MB each month, but if you want more you can up to the monthly payments a notch to £15.50.

The HTC One A9s is available in both Gray and Blue colors, but we'd like to mention that the Blue color version won't be shipping until November 28, so keep that in mind before ordering. Those who don't want to commit to monthly payments can get the One A9s for £278 upfront.

Specs-wise, the One A9s is nothing to be impressed about, as the phone sports a 5-inch display that supports HD (720p) resolution. It features a 13-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash on the back, as well as a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front.

When it comes to hardware, the One A9s is decent enough for the price you pay. It packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, coupled with 3GB RAM, and 32GB storage (expandable via microSD).

It's also worth noting that the One A9s is powered by a 2,300 mAh battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. We doubt there will be any major Android OS updates available for the mid-range handset.
