This HTC One (M8) limited edition is not for sale
HTC has introduced a new limited edition HTC One (M8). Produced in cooperation with Phunk Studio, 64 units were made with 32 in gold, and 32 in silver. The limited edition models were made to promote the studio's upcoming exhibition called Wonderment. Don't start looking around to buy one of these beauties. The manufacturer is not putting them up for sale.

HTC has been known to produce some other well received limited editions before. Back in 2010, the T-Mobile myTouch 3Gwas available in a finish that resembled a Fender Guitar. One of the most eye-catching limited editions produced by HTC was the black and white HTC One X designed by Cushnie et Ochs. That model was given away in a gift bag to celebrities attending Fashion Week in New York back in 2012.

This year, HTC gave away a limited edition HTC One (M8) with the iconic S.H.I.E.L.D. etched on the rear of the device. Only 14 units were made, and were given away as part of a contest to promote last May's Captain America movie.
