Taiwanese ladies will soon be able to enjoy a pink HTC Butterfly

Want to make a fancy present to your sexy lady? Well, get ready for a trip to Taiwan, because that is where HTC is preparing to launch a sweet pink version of its powerful Butterfly smartphone. On second though, don't go on that trip, because that Buttefly you'll get there will probably be incompatible with the network of your carrier at home. Not all is lost, though. Who knows, some third-party retailer might come up with an unlocked and compatible pink version of the Butterfly.

For those who are not familiar with the HTC Butterfly, it's basically the international version of the HTC DROID DNA, which is available from Verizon Wireless in the US. It has a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, 2 GB RAM, 8 MP camera and many other features typical of a high-end smartphone. With its large, 5" 1080p S-LCD 3 display, though, the pink HTC Butterfly will definitely be geared towards the ladies who like their smartphones big.
