T-Mobile targets BlackBerry users with new mailer for Apple iPhone 5s
T-Mobile has sent out promotional mailers aimed right at the heart of BlackBerry users. The mailer urges T-Mobile customers to make the switch to the Apple iPhone 5s. "Switch to iPhone 5s and get powerful communications and productivity apps — with the ease of use that Apple is known for," says the mailer. Of course, we couldn't disagree with 'Berry fans who claim to get no love from the nation's fourth largest carrier. T-Mobile stopped offering BlackBerry in its stores late last year. Of course, you can always order your BlackBerry handset using telephone sales or online.

T-Mobile is currently offering the Apple iPhone 5s for $0 down and 24 monthly installments of $25 which works out to $600. T-Mobile's website shows just two BlackBerry handsets available. The BlackBerry Curve 9315 is $0 down with 24 monthly installments of $7 due. That works out to $168. The refurbished version of the BlackBerry Curve 9315 is $0 down with 24 monthly installments of $5 which adds up to $120. The lone BlackBerry 10 model on the site is a refurbished BlackBerry Q10. The QWERTY equipped 'Berry is $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $16 due. That adds up to $384.

With T-Mobile's decision to phase out in store sales of BlackBerry, does this mailer really surprise anyone?
