Specs comparison time: OnePlus 5 vs iPhone 7 Plus vs Galaxy S8+ vs OnePlus 3T

It's time for OnePlus to settle things up and officially show us its worst-kept secret — the leaked-at-large OnePlus 5.

The time for that is nigh as the handset is now official at long last. Boasting top of the line specs, OnePlus' latest flagship offering is once again aiming at the tiny niche that caters to the most tech-savvy Android users. Yet, unlike previous OnePlus releases, the OnePlus 5 is also vying to be more approachable by the regular consumer base.

How does the new OnePlus 5 stack up against the very best handsets in terms of specs, however? How does it measure up against the iPhone 7 Plus and the Galaxy S8+, as well as its predecessor, the OnePlus 3T? Let's find out!

How can the phone have smaller dimensions with the same screen size, and yet a smaller screen to body ratio than the 3T? Come on Phonearena!

It's magic. But in truth they pasted the data incorrectly from the iPhone 7+

iPhonearena likes to always prop up Apple by posting what look to be mistakes. The 3T dimensions are 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.4 mm. Also they could have put in the S8 instead of the S8+. But they don't want to show how big the iPhone 7 plus really is. That is why it's screen to body ratio is so low.
