Sony video prepares us for an MWC announcement
Sony is one of the manufacturers that we expect to hear big things from at MWC, with the strong possibility that the Japanese firm will introduce the successor to the Sony Xperia Z1. Code named the Sony D6503 Sirius, the new flagship handset would be announced just less than 6 months from the unveiling of the Xperia Z1. It is expected to continue with the "Z" branding as the Sony Xperia Z2. Also rumored to be on tap is a new flagship slate, the Sony Xperia tablet Z2.
The quick 16 second video teaser really doesn't give that much away, although it does confirm that there will be some Xperia related announcement at MWC. And the tag line, "Something extraordinary is coming," certainly raises our expectations.
