Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and Android Wear smartwatch both accidentally leak in one photo

Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and Android Wear smartwatch both accidentally leak in one photo
Last week, we told you about a user guide for a Sony Bluetooth speaker, that showed it to be compatible with a slate called the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. It seems that the latter might have appeared on Sunday, in a promo posted on the manufacturer's Facebook page. And there's more. On the tablet user's wrist, appears an Android Wear powered smartwatch. Both products are unannounced, although that could change when IFA 2014 opens in Berlin during the first week of September.

The image shows the tablet being used poolside, hinting that the slab will continue with Sony's trend of waterproofing the Xperia line, including tablets. The smartwatch in the picture is also presumed to be resistant to water.

The image appears to be mistakenly included in Sony's promotional layout for its Sony Smart Band. Ooops. As a result of the boo-boo, we can now look forward to seeing the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, and the Android Wear powered smartwatch, both see the light of day in less than two weeks.

I thought Sony was sticking to it's own smartwatch platform with the SW3? That looks more like the new smartwatch being the way the time is shown just like on the SW2.

Nooo Android Wear is a fail don't use it please. Well the watch would most likely fail anyways so I don't care.

Wouldn't it just be good if the watch used Sony's watch interface and you could download Google Now as an additional app?

Anyone here has Sony Xperia Z2? I want to know if Sony gives software update to fix overheating issues which apparently always force the camera app shut down after using camera for a couple of minutes. I'm considering to get that phone and that problem let me down.

Wait for the z3 to come out then the z2 should be heavily discounted.

My Z2 camera never heats up unless shooting 4K video. That's my experience and I'm sure you won't be disappointed either!
