Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact preorders open in Europe
Sony introduced its new flagship lineup, the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact, last month, but the smartphones could not be pre-ordered until today. If you live in Europe, you can now pre-order either of the two handsets in four color variants: Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green and Coral Pink.

Prices and availability highly depend on your location, so if plan to buy the Xperia XZ2 in the UK, you'll have to come with no less than £699. According to Amazon, the smartphone will hit the shelves on April 5, so you'll still have to wait for about a month.

On the other hand, the Xperia XZ2 Compact costs just £529 and should be released on the market on the same date – April 5. Apparently, Amazon is selling dual-SIM versions of the smartphones as well, and for the same price.

The Xperia XZ2 is available in other European countries like France, Germany, and Italy for prices starting at €799, whereas the smaller Xperia XZ2 Compact sells for just €599. Both smartphones should arrive in these countries around the same time as in the UK.
