Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Tab S 8.4 officially available in the US

As you may have heard, the cheapest among the two new tablets is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, which costs $399.99. The larger Galaxy Tab S 10.5 can be yours for $499.99. For the moment, Samsung is selling only Wi-Fi versions of the slates, with LTE-capable variants likely coming in the next few months.
Both the Tab S 10.5 and Tab S 8.4 are extremely thin (0.26 inches), and are available in two color options: titanium bronze, and dazzling white. They are the world’s first high-resolution AMOLED tablets, sporting Super AMOLED screens with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. Customers buying the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 directly from Samsung have to take note that the tablets “will be shipped in 10-14 business days.” Amazon seems to be able to send any of the two devices faster (by June 30), while asking the same prices.
