Samsung to launch two new Galaxy J Prime phones this fall
Samsung plans to launch two new budget-friendly Android smartphones in the coming months, improved versions of current models: Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6. The main difference between the current and upcoming phones, besides their names, is the chipset inside.

While the Galaxy J4 and J6 come with Exynos chipsets, the Galaxy J4 Prime and J6 Prime are supposed to pack Snapdragon processors. Also, they will run a slightly newer version of Android out of the box.

It's true that they don't come with Android 9 Pie on board, but at least customers will get Android 8.1 Oreo instead of just standard Android 8.0 Oreo. Both phones have already been listed on Samsung Vietnam's support page, but no other details about them aside from what we've already mentioned are known yet.

What we do know is the Netherlands and Vietnam will be among the first countries that will get the Galaxy J4 Prime and Galaxy J6 Prime, whenever that might happen. Price-wise, they'll most likely cost no more than €200 upfront.
