Rich Capture on the Camera App for Windows 10 Mobile is now called Rich HDR
Back in December 2014, we told you about a feature that Microsoft called Rich Capture. The latter was disseminated to certain Lumia models via the Lumia Denim update. Rich Capture included HDR, Dynamic Flash and Dynamic Exposure. HDR snaps multiple exposures of the same image and melds them together into a more realistic looking picture.

Now, with most smartphone owners familiar with HDR, Microsoft is changing the name of the feature on the Windows 10 version of the Windows Camera app to Rich HDR from Rich Capture. When used with the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, the Windows Camera app can decide automatically whether HDR is warranted for a specific shot based on the scene.

Word that Rich Capture would get re-branded was first spotted on a tweet sent out by @gus33000. The tweet included the image that we have embedded below.
