Konami, the owner of the PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) franchise, has just announced that the next game in the series will be launched on both Android and iOS platforms. Pro Evolution Soccer 17 will be available in the Google Play and App Store later this month.

The game will be free-to-play, but it will contain some massive in-app purchase options, so feel free to turn this feature off if you don't want to spend any real money while playing it.

It's worth mentioning Konami has managed to license teams, players, and stadiums, including club and national teams, along with UEFA Champions League. Players will be able to scout and recruit thousands of soccer stars from all around the world (Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, and more).

Pro Evolution Soccer 17 allows players to challenge friends in “Local Match” or discover new rivals in “Online Match” mode. Naturally, the game will require a persistent Internet connection to play.

Konami throws in some kick off bonuses for those who install the game and complete the tutorials at any time between the official launch date (late May) and August 23. These gifts must be redeemed by September 22 otherwise they will be lost forever.

You can even pre-register to be notified of the game's release date via email. However, pre-registration for iOS users is only available in the UK, US, and Japan.
