Back in November, we told you that the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) would launch in four colors including Black, Gold, Pink and Blue. This morning, press renders of the phone were disseminated in those four hues. Besides the look of the phone, today's leak also revealed the specs for the handset. According to the source of the photos, the Galaxy A5 (2017) will feature a 5.2-inch screen carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution.

Under the hood is the Exynos 7880 SoC with an octa-core 1.8GHz CPU, and the Mali-T860 MP4 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of native storage. Both the back and front cameras weigh in at 16MP, and a 3000mAh battery will keep the lights on. Android 6.0 is pre-installed.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) will measure 7.8mm thin and will carry a Type-C USB port. Earlier this month, a hands-on video for the phone was discovered on YouTube which displayed a side mounted speaker. But before we could get a better look at it, the video was taken down. A fingerprint scanner could be embedded in the home button, and we should see an IP68 certification rating; this means that the phone can be submerged in water as deep as nearly 10-feet, for as long as 30-minutes, and escape unscathed.

We could see the phone unveiled at CES next month in Lss Vegas along with the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) and the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017).
