Pre-orders now accepted for white BlackBerry Passport; more pictures of red varaint leak

As gorgeous as the black BlackBerry Passport seems to be to many of you out there, when pictures of the enterprise-centric 'Berry in white were leaked, the drool meter went off the charts. What is it about a handset done up in white that makes the heart pound faster, and the sweat glands work overtime? The same reaction was seen when the Apple iPhone first appeared in the same color as Casper the Friendly Ghost.

We can tell you that if the BlackBerry Passport in white is what you dream about at night, the phone in that particular color can now be pre-ordered from BlackBerry for $622.22 USD. Shipping will begin on Pearl Harbor Day, which is December 7th. Everything about the phone, except for the color, is the same as on the black model.

As for the red version of the BlackBerry Passport, which was already introduced by CEO John Chen, it is expected to be available in limited quantities starting on Black Friday, which is next week.
