Pictures of the box for the Huawei Watch leak; is the long awaited launch coming soon?
While Huawei introduced its timepiece, the Android Wear powered Huawei Watch, at MWC back in March, some issues have sprung up delaying the actual release of the device. But there are some reasons to believe that the timepiece will soon be available, at least in some regions of the world. One is the recent FCC visit paid by the watch, which we told you about just last week.

Another reason to expect the Huawei Watch to launch soon is a series of leaked photographs showing off the box for the device. The box has a textured feel to it, and features the Huawei logo embossed into the top of the packaging. Inside, the Huawei Watch name is lettered in gold. It looks like Huawei took great care in designing a box that shows off the quality of the product.

The Huawei Watch features a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 400 x 400. That works out to a pixel density of 286ppi. A Snapdragon 400 chip drives the timepiece with a CPU bringing a clock speed of 1.3GHz. 512MB of RAM is inside along with 4GB of storage. The stainless steel case measures 42mm and the device can be purchased in silver, gold or black. A 300mAh battery powers the watch.

With the Huawei Watch, you can monitor your heart rate, count the number of steps you are taking, and compute the number of calories you are burning. Pricing is rumored to start at the equivalent of $386 USD to as high as $411 USD for the gold colored model.

Thanks for the tip!

Costly. There's have not been any improvement specs wise in android wear and still prices are going high for no reason or because of Trend started by some companies, I guess.

300 mA battery? Probably enough to get you to your office to put it on the 2nd charger that they want you to buy.
