PayPal for Android updated to version 4.0.0.3

PayPal's Android app has been updated to version 4.0.0.3 and is available for free in Google Play Store. Getting points for a new UI, the design of the app now matches the Android design language although this update is about more than looks. While PayPal says that it now has "the features that matter to you most," that could mean just about anything. One important feature allows you to see your current balance and available balance which is updated in real time. The update is said to improve the design and navigation of the app, account management, sending money, and requesting money.

PayPal's "Local" functionality combines with PayPal Here to allow you to pay local businesses with a quick and easy check-in system. When you visit a merchant who is on board with the platform, the moment you check in, your name shows up on the store's mobile device which allows the business owner to accept a payment from you instantly via PayPal.
