The Oppo R7 and Oppo R7 Plus are expected to be unveiled this coming Wednesday, May 20th. But China's JD.com already has the Oppo R7 available for pre-orders at the equivalent of $483 USD. Now, while our Chinese isn't what it once was, we can tell you that JD.com is warning those ready to reserve the device that the official pricing won't be known until Wednesday.

The site does list the specs for the handset which includes a 5-inch display carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. That combination provides a pixel density of 441ppi. The 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC is under the hood which features an octa-core 1.7GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of native storage. A 20.7MP camera graces the back of the device and there is a front-facing snapper ready to take selfies. A 2320mAh battery keeps the AC running and Android 5.0 is pre-installed. The model listed on the site is silver, and includes dual SIM, dual standby capabilities.

Earlier leaks had the Oppo R7 listed for $483, so it is possible that JD.com has hit the nail on the head. But none of this is official until Oppo makes it so, and that will take place in a matter of days. We look forward to telling you all about it on Wednesday when Oppo unwraps the new handsets.

Thanks for the tip!
