One Plus promises warranty coverage on Indian One units purchased from OnePlus site
With an official launch of the OnePlus One in India about to take place soon, the company has decided to go ahead and offer a full warranty for OnePlusOne units purchased in the country through the oneplus.net website. Because of differences between the global model and the Chinese One, the latter is not being covered for Indians who purchased that model instead.

OnePlus is beginning to put the pieces in place as it builds out an organization in India. A General Manager has been hired for the region, and country-specific invites will be issued to consumers in India, seeking to purchase the OnePlus One handset. The 64GB model will be released first, followed by the 16GB variant, which will be priced at the equivalent of $325 USD.

The company's 5.5-inch phone has been generally well-received, although there have been a few hiccups in terms of the company's invite system, marketing and return policy. There is speculation that a smaller-screened sequel will be launched some time in the middle of next year.
