Nokia unveils two new 3G devices - 6282 and 6233

Nokia has unveiled two more additions to its lineup of 3G devices as part of its annual Capital Market Days event – the 6282 (GSM 850/1900/1800/UMTS 1900) slider and the classically designed 6233 (GSM 900/1800/1900/WCDMA 2100). Both of these devices are based on Series 40 Platform 3rd Edition.

 

Nokia 6282: is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2006 in markets offering 1900MHz UMTS service. It features:

  • 320x240 pixel QVGA display
  • Bluetooth
  • 1 megapixel camera with video capture
  • streaming multimedia audio and video
  • MP3/AAC formats
  • FM radio
  • digital music player with hot-swappable miniSD card support

 

Nokia 6233: is expected to begin shipping in the second quarter of 2006. It has the following main features:

  • 320 x 240 QVGA color display
  • Bluetooth
  • 2 megapixel camera with video capture
  • digital music player with hotswappable microSD memory card support of up to 2 GB streaming multimedia audio and video content
  • MP3/AAC formats
