Nokia X7 leaked images offer a closer look at the notchless display
Nokia X7 is one of HMD's mid-range Android smartphones that has yet to be officially introduced. However, the latest links paint a slightly different picture than what we originally thought. It appears that HMD won't include a notched display, even though it belongs to the X lineup (Nokia X5, Nokia X6).

Although the first reports about the Nokia X7 suggested the smartphone will sport a notched display, the latest information leaked from China contradicts those reports. We now have two pictures allegedly showing the front and back sides of the Nokia X7 panel, something that we've seen before.

However, this time the leakster claims it has some details about the size and resolution of the display, as well as info about the Nokia X7's release date. Obviously, we suggest our readers taking this information with a grain of salt since we can't yet confirm it.

Long story short, the Nokia X7 will feature a “traditional” LCD display with a size of 5.9-inch and full HD+ (2160 x 1080p) resolution. The smartphone will be launched globally as Nokia 7.1 Plus and it will be equipped with a Snapdragon 710 processor.

Finally, HMD is determined to bring the Nokia X7 to the market this year, unlike the camera-oriented Nokia 9. Even though we don't know exactly when the source of these images claims the phone will be launched in October-November.

By "notch-less display" you mean "old fashioned, useless-bezel display", right ?

Hopefully it won't have that ridiculous camera setup on the back of the phone.

Consodering that all the leaks and info on the Nokia X7/7.1 Plus have made no mention of the awesome 5 camera set up, it's safe to say that this won't have one. This also a continuation of the Nokia 7 line, which is midrange. The awesome 5 camera set up is being used for high end Nokia branded flagships.

Hence why I said "hopefully." Nothing is confirmed until officially announced. All of Nokia's phones are midrange btw, so what is your point?

Lol, calm down. I just pointed out that obvious because it was something that you obviously missed. And all of HMD’s Nokia branded smartphones aren’t midrange, btw. It’s called research. You should try it sometime.

HMD has been putting out some very good midrangers, with the Nokia 7.1 being one of the best midrangers out today. Looking forward to the 7.1 Plus.

I thought I was seeing things at first. I was just about to say that Nokia's naming pattern is oddly confusing enough as is, but I see that you already clarified it.

HMD’s (Not Nokia, as they don’t make smartphones anymore. You’re welcome) naming pattern isn’t confusing at all. It’s as simple as iPhone 8/8Plus, Galaxy S9/S9+. But I see that you just proved that not everyone is on the same level intelligence wise.

Everything looks great but why LCD screen? Old Nokia X7 has an AMOLED...
