Nokia X leaked live pictures confirm the notch, dual rear cameras
It looks like HMD Global is the newest company to have embraced the controversial notch. The new smartphone launched by the Finnish handset maker is likely to be called Nokia X, even though previous rumors claimed the device will be introduced as Nokia X6.

It's also possible that HMD may use two different names for the upcoming mid-range smartphone, one for the Chinese market (Nokia X) and another one for the international market (Nokia X6). In any case, several live pictures taken from the launch event in China confirm it's called Nokia X.

Also, the phone does seem to feature a small notch on the top of the display, as well as a dual-camera configuration with Zeiss optics on the back side. No details about the phone's other specs have been leaked yet, but we can clearly see the model number of the phone – TA-1099, the same that was briefly spotted at the Chinese regulatory agency not long ago.

Hopefully, the Nokia X won't be a Chinese affair, as the device does look pretty cool. We'll report more about HMD's new Android smartphone once it goes official later today, but rumor has it the phone should boast a 5.8-inch display with 19:9 aspect ratio, as well as either 4GB or 6GB RAM. Also, the Nokia X is supposed to come in two variations based on the chipset inside: Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 and MediaTek P60.
