Nokia Glance updated with Windows Phone 8.1 support

In case you needed another proof that Windows Phone 8.1's coming soon, Nokia updated its Glance app to support the next version of Microsoft’s mobile OS. The app’s official page clearly shows that its newest feature is “support for Windows Phone 8.1”, so there should be no doubt that this is what Microsoft will call the platform’s upcoming iteration.

Earlier this week, Microsoft almost posted the features of Windows Phone 8.1 on its website, only to remove any reference to the new OS shortly after that.

As most Nokia users probably know, Glance is an app that lets you view time and notifications while your handset is in standby mode. The app is free (of course) and can be downloaded at the source link below.

Microsoft will most probably launch Windows Phone 8.1 next month, during, or after its Build Conference that takes place between April 2 and April 4. You can read this article to see what the new version of Windows Phone is supposed to bring us.
