New content sorting for the Ovi Store allows faster access for relevant content
Perusing for a specific application may sometimes feel overwhelming when the interface you’re using isn’t user friendly. Fortunately for S60 users out there, the Nokia Ovi Store team just released an update which allows faster access to relevant content with their new content sorting feature. Now this only applies to S60 powered devices and not Maemo – you’ll get a prompt the next time you load up the Ovi Store on your handheld to install it. Their focus for this latest release is to provide users sorting options as you navigate through the store – sorting options such as “Top Free”, “Best Sellers”, and “New” make the experience faster and easier. Not only will it simplify the experience, so that no time is wasted looking through apps you’ve gone through already, but it will continue to show you items that are getting the most buzz. We know that everyone loves free apps, and thanks to the new content sorting feature, your one-stop shop at the Ovi Store will be a bit more tolerable.
