Motorola Moto M now official: 5.5-inch 1080p screen, octa-core CPU and 4GB RAM
As expected, the Motorola Moto M is finally official, launched in China today by the manufacturer. The phone leaked like a sieve, which means that there aren't any surprises to speak of. The Moto M carries a 5.5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution and 2.5D curved glass. Powering the handset is a MediaTek Helio P15 chipset with an octa-core 2.2GHz CPU and the Mali-T860MP2 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of native storage.

The 16MP rear-facing camera comes with PDAF focusing, and an 8MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video chats; a fingerprint scanner is placed right under the rear camera. Keeping the lights on is a 3050mAh battery, and a USB Type-C port is included. P2i's nano-coating protects the Moto M from light rain and spills, and Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed.

The Motorola Moto M (XT1662) will go on sale November 11th, priced at the equivalent of $295 USD. Color options are Gold and Silver. At this point, there are no plans to bring this model into the states.
