Motorola CLIQ 2 announced, release date is Jan 19 on T-Mobile
Wonder what T-Mobile has to announce at CES 2011? Well, here is the Motorola CLIQ 2 for you. This mid-range Android phone doesn't have breath taking specs, but its sure unique with the design of its QWERTY keyboard. Instead of standard rectangular or circular buttons, CLIQ 2 has a Honeycomb-like pattern; don't be fooled though,  it runs Android 2.2 Froyo, and not 3.0 Honeycomb. It also has the MOTOBLUR interface which offers you different themes, to make it more comfortable for you when you are at home or work for example. MOTOBLUR also backups your personal information (contacts, login info, email and messages) online on a secured server and allows you to wipe the phone if you lose it.

Hardware-wise, MOTOROLA CLIQ 2 offers 4-row side-sliding QWERTY, 3.7" 480x854 display, 1GHz processor, 5MP camera and HSDPA 10.1 Mbps.

It will be available from January 19 with T-Mobile. Currently, there is no information on its pricing and if it will be getting an update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
