MetroPCS offers free Android smartphones when you switch to its unlimited LTE plan

MetroPCS, T-Mobile's prepaid carrier, has just announced that for a limited time customers will benefit from promotional prices on its unlimited plan. On top of that, every customer who ports its line to MetroPCS will receive an Android smartphone for free.

Starting today, new and existing customers who add at least one new line of service will receive four lines of unlimited talk, text and LTE data for just $100 (taxes and fees included). Usually, MetroPCS customers must pay $50 for the same plan, but the current offer will lower the cost to $25.

It's a great deal if you have three more friends (or if your household has four phones) who want to join MetroPCS and pay just $25 per month for the unlimited LTE plan. As mentioned earlier, for every line ported to MetroPCS, the carrier will offer a free smartphone.

Here is the list of Android smartphones that you'll be able to choose if you decide to port to MetroPCS: Alcatel Fierce 4, Alcatel Fierce A30, Coolpad Defiant, LG Aristo, LG K20 Plus, Motorola Moto E4, Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, ZTE Blade Z Max, and ZTE Avid TRIO.

Although MetroPCS does say that this is a limited time offer, it's unclear when exactly it will end, so you might want to head to your nearest MetroPCS store as soon as possible if you want to take advantage of the deal.
