Lenovo has got three new tablets that it wants to show you - meet the TAB3 7, 8, and 10 Business

Apart from showing us two new phones at MWC 2016, the Vibe K5 and K5 Plus, Lenovo also aims to please the tablet-loving crowd with its newest slates. The Lenovo TAB3 7, TAB3 8, which are lauded as "family-friendly" tablets and the TAB3 10 Business tablet, which is intended for business use.

Are they specc'd well for the task? Well, let's check out what's going on in the specs sheets!

The TAB3 10, in particular, stands out with its expanded capabilities: it comes with a flurry of connectivity features, like Y- and T- connectors, as well as RJ45 cable ports. Additionally, the tablet is IP52-certified, which means that it will endure water splashes and dust just fine. Native hardware encryption is on board in order to make users' endeavors as secure as it gets. There's also "persistent endpoint protection, which shields business networks; and geotechnology, which allows businesses to track devices and even create geofences" in the TAB3 10 Business - if that's not appealing to the enterprise sector, we don't know what is.

The TAB3 7 and 8 don't boast the aforementioned security features, but they are also splash-proof and come with Dolby Atmos audio tech on board. That's right, they are multimedia slates, and Lenovo wants the whole family to enjoy. All of these will be available starting June 2016 from all Lenovo Retail Partners. Are you getting one?

I've got the Tab 2 A7-20, bought it for Aus 99, great value for money if you know how to navigate around 1Gb on Android. Does the job for pdf on the train and netflix/youtube in bed. Only downside is they said they'd update it to lilipop in December but so far it's changed to "to be announced" and no word from their support. They've updated the other regions to lilipop since August! Wonder which MediaTek processor the new tab 3's run, otherwise the specs look near identical to the tab 2 series.

Anyway, the title sounds as if they paid you to write it: "(Oh they want to show you)"

The Tab 2 10 was the bargain of 2015 and excellent value. If they've improved on it whilst maintaining the same price, it's well worth buying.

I don't know where you live, but in Asia Teclast's X98 Air III took first prize for bargain of 2015:http://www.banggood.com/Teclast-X98-Air-III-Intel-Z3735F-1_83GHz-9_7-Inch-Android-5_0-Tablet-p-998596.html?p=JQ26191551677201504Z
