LG Marquee and Samsung Transform Ultra are priced at free for a limited time through Sprint
Let’s be serious for a moment, but there’s nothing like seeing some decent smartphones priced at free to get the blood flowing smoothly through our veins and arteries. Granted they’re not the shiniest things out of Sprint’s stable, both the LG Marquee and Samsung Transform Ultra have enough oomph in their bellies to satisfy the average Joes out there.

For a limited time, we find the two Android powered smartphones priced at that hard to beat level of free with a 2-year contract – so it’s hardly going to mess with your financials. On one hand, you have a device that polarizes with its brilliant looking NOVA display, while the other offers the usefulness of a physical QWERTY keyboard. Normally, these mid-range spec’d handsets are positioned at the $100 cost of ownership level, but now that they’re free for a limited time, there’s no arguing the deal will be a dead ringer for some people.

Well, it’ll be intriguing to see how long Sprint will have these two priced where they’re at right now, but knowing that the LG Viper is essentially a souped-up version of the Marquee with 4G LTE support, it wouldn’t surprise us to see this price reduction being a permanent one. Then again, it’s anyone’s guess as to how Sprint will structure the pricing for its upcoming 4G LTE devices.

Nevertheless, the savings between these two handsets are available right now, so don’t squander the opportunity of picking them up for nothing out of your pockets – well, except for that monthly plan you’ll be paying for the next 2 years.
