LG LS860 "Cayenne" surfaces, possibly a QWERTY keyboard Android headed to Sprint
Smartphones with hardware keyboards – a breed that is steadily headed towards extinction. But have we seen the last of them yet? Apparently not, it seems. That is because LG might very well be working on one, and Sprint is said to be the carrier this rumored device may land on.

Sources for BriefMobile – the same ones who leaked the LG LS970 "Eclipse", have now provided an image and specs of the so-called LG LS860 "Cayenne", which is being described as a QWERTY keyboard version of the LG Viper 4G LTE. Therefore, it is expected to sport a 4-inch IPS-LCD display with WVGA resolution and a dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Support for LTE connectivity is also being hinted. Last but not least, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will allegedly come pre-installed – cheers for that!

Don't forget, however, that this is but a rumor, which might turn out to be inaccurate. What you see in the photo might just as well be a prototype that will never see the light of day. But then again, is there anyone who would love to grab a temptingly-priced mid-ranger with a hardware QWERTY keyboard? Let us know by dropping a comment below.

Thanks for sending this in!
