Jumanji: The Mobile Game coming to Android and iOS devices on December 14

The new Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle movie starring Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart and Jack Black is set for debut in the United States on December 20. Until then, smartphone users will be given a taste of what's to come in the form of a mobile game.

Jumanji: The Mobile Game will be released on both Android and iOS platforms on December 14, less than a week ahead of the movie's debut. From what we can tell, the game mixes elements of CCG (card collectible game) and board game genres, but we're not yet sure if it's just a title meant to raise the hype around the movie.

The game has a PvP mode as well where players can compete over control of key areas of the jungle. Players can build their own deck for each encounter, as each skill card opens dozens of new strategies and ways to defeat opponents.

Moreover, Jumanji: The Mobile Game allows players to join a Clan to stay connected with friends and rivals. You can even share cards and strategies with your friends and fight for top spots in the Rank Leaderboard.

The game will be available for free, but it comes with in-app purchases. It's also worth mentioning that if you live in Canada or Thailand, you can already play the game on an iOS device.
