HTC America announces new financing program prior to unveiling of the U11 Plus
With the HTC U11 Plus expected to be unveiled November 2nd, consumers might be happy to learn that HTC America has teamed up with TD Bank to introduce the HTC Financing Program. This new financing option will be offered to those using the HTC.com website to make a purchase of $599 or more on mobile devices and accessories. This currently includes the well received HTC U11. The 64 GB version of the flagship model can be purchased by making payments of $28 a month over 24 months, using HTC Financing. The 128GB variant will require 24 monthly payments of $31.

The new partnership comes just in time for those interested in the HTC U11 Plus. Rumored specs include a 6-inch LCD edge-to-edge display, with a resolution of 1440 x 2880. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 835 chipset with an octa-core CPU running at a clock speed of 2.45GHz. The Adreno 540 GPU is included. The U11 Plus will sport 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of native storage.

HTC has been chided in the past for the underwhelming battery capacities found on its flagship models. But the U11 Plus will carry a 4000mAh battery. A fingerprint scanner adorns the back of the phone, where a 12MP camera will also lie. The latter will be equipped with an aperture of f/1.7, which should let enough light in to allow users to snap photos in low-light conditions. The front-facing 8MP snapper will handle video chats and selfies. Today, we told you that an HTC teaser appears to be telling us that the U11 Plus will offer wireless charging.

The HTC Financing Program should allow many American consumers to buy the HTC U11 Plus by offering an affordable monthly payment plan that runs for 24 months.
