HTC 7 Trophy spy shots surface

Shots of the European market-bound HTC 7 Trophy have surfaced, and they are somewhat of a surprise. The largest departure from original information is that the device is Windows Phone 7 rather than Windows Mobile 6.5, but we already suspected that. The specs were also thought to include a full QWERTY keyboard on the face, a 3 inch display, and a 5 megapixel camera.

Now that we're looking at it, it's obvious that they scrapped their earlier Windows Mobile 6.5 design, and really just kept the name. The removal of the keyboard was probably in keeping with Microsoft's tight restrictions on WP7 hardware. Current information points to HTC Sense and HTC Hub making an appearance on the device as well.

For all we know at this point, this could be the HTC HD7, or they might be two different market releases of the same device.
