HMD Global to release new Nokia phones simultaneously in 120 markets in April-June period
With the MWC almost a month ago now, HMD Global has made a statement about possible release details for its Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 models. A recent announcement holds that the company is allegedly looking at a simultaneous launch of the devices in 120 markets. Nonetheless, HMD’s highly ambitious plan may see slightly different dates in different parts of the world, but still within the April-June period. However, we are in the know that it's unlikely to see the handsets hit shelves before the second half of Q2. A couple of days ago, Clove UK confirmed this, publishing information on its website that points at May releases for Nokia 3 and Nokia 5, with Nokia 6 not available before June.

We got some hands-on time with the devices at the MWC and already know a few things about about the expected specs  (Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6Nokia 3310), and now know for sure that the phones are indeed coming to the US market. The upcoming Nokia range seems to attract a lot of interest amongst old-time fans of the brand and Android users, alike. The phones present decent low- to mid-tier smartphone choices, with Nokia 6 selling at €229 (still only available in China, though), and Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 rocking under-$200 price tags.

Stupid HMD, they should've hurried with the release of the 3310, the nostalgic feelings are fading away. How hard is it to release the feature phone globally without waiting for the smartphones to be ready?? They could've made huge sales.

People have waited years just for Nokia to release a true Android phone after they had gone the Windows route, so I'm positive that they won't mind waiting a tad bit longer for the HMD/Nokia to release any of these new devices.

While I agree with you on what you said about Nokia/Android phones, but the 3310 final product was presented in MWC, why delay it then?

I'm not so sure that was the final product at MWC.

Why the rush? They're going by the book chapter to chapter instead of relying on name alone to push a product. Everything including battery life and durability is noted with their N6 -- they've got this.

It also helps that they aren't being anchored by a third party with conflicting interests anymore (Microsoft), the Finnish Crew are back 100%.

If there are huge sales to be had in the dumbphone market, HMD will have them, there's really no competition.

Agreed, feel like the buzz has gone. They should have announced and released in december. Would have sold millions!

Waiting on U.S. availability of the Nokia 6! After that, I want a Nokia branded handset with flagship specs/performance.

Stupid mistake made by HMD,Nokia want to get there phones popular with consumers but waiting while June will be miles to late,Why have the Mobile Conference in so early then delay the phones release,March should have been the release date so people could buy the phones straight away,to get the Nokia name popular again

Lots of phones were shown at MWC that haven't been released for sale yet.

They should get out the Nokia 6 as soon as possible globaly since it are already launched in China. Then they could release the other models later. But they have lost me as a buyer this time. I have bought a phone by another brand.
