Google Earth for Android gets update, World still round
Google Earth for Android has been updated for Google Play Store. The new version, 6.2, brings a number of new features including Earth Gallery which allows you to view real time airline flights, visit areas of the world that have suffered an earthquake and get tours of selected cities. You can also share your current view through Google+ or other social network sites and the app now supports pinch and zoom. Additionally some stability and performance issues have been settled with this update.

Based on some of the first reviews written after the update, the new additions are a big hit with Google Earth users with some saying that the app is now exactly like the desktop version. We would suggest that those installing this app have a phone with some heavy duty specs or else you will end up with a frozen screen and the need for you to perform a battery pull.
