Fossil confirms Android Wear 2.0 global rollout begins March 15

Fossil has not one but three smartwatches that will be updated to Android Wear 2.0. Last month the company announced that customers who own the Fossil Q Founder 2.0, Q Marshal, and Q Wander would be getting the update in mid-March.

Today, Fossil confirmed the Android Wear 2.0 rollout is well underway and that a wider push will start on March 15. If you happen to own one of the smartwatches eligible for this major OS update, then you should know that tomorrow is the date that remaining devices should receive Android Wear 2.0.

This isn't the only good news announced by Fossil, as the watchmaker confirmed the original Q Founder smartwatch would be getting the update too, along with the other models mentioned last month.

Fossil's smartwatches aren't the only ones to be updated to Android Wear 2.0. An extensive list of supported wearable devices has been put together by Google, so customers know what to expect.

Here are some of the smartwatches that could receive Android Wear 2.0 updates in the coming weeks: Moto 360 Gen 2, Moto 360 Sport, LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE, LG Watch Urbane, LG G Watch R, Polar M600, Casio Smart Outdoor Watch, Nixon Mission, Tag Heuer Connected, Michael Kors Access Bradshaw Smartwatch, Michael Kors Access Dylan Smartwatch, Huawei Watch, Huawei Watch Ladies, Asus ZenWatch 2, and Asus ZenWatch 3.
