First look at the Oppo R7 Plus shows a rear-facing fingerprint scanner
Last month, we told you that in addition to unveiling the sleek Oppo R7 on May 20th, the manufacturer was also going to introduce a premium spec'd Oppo R7 Plus. According to the rumor, Oppo was housing a larger battery inside the R7 Plus as the R7 is said to be limited to a 2000mAh battery due to its thin footprint.
While we have mentioned the Oppo R7 Plus before, there hasn't been too much information floating around about the device. On Friday, a teaser for both the R7 and R7 Plus was discovered on a Weibo page in China. We can see from the images how much bigger the R7 Plus is compared to the R7. And we also can see the fingerprint scanner on the back of the premium model, right below the camera. At various times, we've heard that the regular R7 model will also contain a biometric scanner, but on that unit it would be embedded in the home button.
