First Amazon Music app for wearables now available on select Garmin smartwatches
Amazon has just released its first-ever Music app for smartwatches, but it looks like not everyone has access to it for now. Starting today, the Music app is available on select Garmin smartwatches, the company announced.

This looks like some sort of limited-time exclusivity, so we expect the Amazon Music app to be available on other smartwatches as well, not just Garmin-branded ones.

Anyway, if you own a Garmin smartwatch, here are all the models that are getting Amazon Music right now: Forerunner 245 Music, Forerunner 645 Music, Forerunner 945, Fenix 5 Plus series, vivoactive 3 Music or MARQ series device. The app is available for download via Connect IQ store, so you'll have to manually download it if you want to try it out.

If you're an Amazon Music subscriber, you can now download and play music from your library, including your favorite songs and playlists, anywhere with Amazon Music on compatible Garmin smartwatches. Prime subscribers have access to more than two million songs and hundreds of hand-curated playlists and stations at no additional cost.

However, if you own an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription, you'll have access to Amazon Music’s premium streaming tier with more than 50 million songs, including the latest releases from today's popular artists. If don't have either, you can try Amazon Music Unlimited for 30 days completely free.
