Facebook for BlackBerry PlayBook gets updated to v2.1 boasting Groups access and media improvements
Good news to anyone holding dearly to a BlackBerry PlayBook, well, that’s because the always popular Facebook app for the tablet is being updated to version 2.1, bringing some new niceties that should play well into the everyday lives of users.

First and foremost, the developers of the app have finally brought along Facebook Groups, which allows you to share and interact with groups that you’re interested in. Not only can you view a Group’s profile, but you also have access to post updates, photos, and videos to a specific group – while still being able to view profiles of group members and send them messages from time to time.

Additionally, v2.1 of Facebook for the BlackBerry PlayBook adds some improvements to the Photo tab by adding new photo and video buttons to make it easier to view content from your friends’ profiles. Streamlining the entire process of posting images and videos, uploading content can be done directly from within your profile, or through the Photos features on the navigation grid.

Granted that they’re nothing major, these small iterative improvements go a long way in providing a continual deep app experience that we’re sure PlayBook users are happy about. You can fetch the download through the BlackBerry App World.
