An internal document from T-Mobile reveals that the Dell Venue Pro will be available as of November 8th. The release will begin with Microsoft stores on November 8th, and then Dell.com on November 15th. The document didn't include any pricing information.
This makes the launch one based largely online, as there are only 7 cities with Microsoft stores. Dell's decision to launch at Microsoft stores is in sync with their recent change in allegiances. They decided only yesterday to switch all of their company devices from BlackBerrys to Windows Phone 7 devices, specifically the Venue Pro.
The Dell Venue Pro is a portrait slider with a full QWERTY keyboard, much like the BlackBerry Torch. It features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4.1-inch Gorilla Glass AMOLED display, a 5MP camera, and 512MB of RAM. At 0.59-inches, the Venue Pro is thicker than other WP7 devices, but the keyboard is worth the extra width.
