Deal: Buy the LG V10 from Verizon and get 50% off the LG Tone Pro Bluetooth headset
With the latest speculation about the LG G5 calling for a secondary screen on the device, LG does have a phone right now that offers the so-called "ticker display" that brings you notifications and other pertinent information. We are referring of course, to the LG V10. The latest data reveals that in the U.S., the V10 sold 10,000 units a day over the first 45 days that it was available. Not a record pace to be sure, but still indicative of decent demand for the device.

This weekend only, purchase the LG V10 from Big Red and you can get 50% off the LG Tone Pro Bluetooth headset. That is a savings of $34.99. Qualified customers can purchase the LG V10 from the carrier for $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $23.83. That works out to a reduced retail price of $572.

The LG V10 comes with a 5.7-inch LCD screen carrying a 1440 x 2560 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 515ppi. The phone is driven by the Snapdragon 808 SoC, featuring a hexa-core 1.8GB CPU and the Adreno 418 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of native storage (51GB is available to the user). Those requiring additional memory can avail themselves of the 2TB capacity microSD slot. On the back of the camera is a 16MP snapper with OIS and an aperture of f/1.8. In front are dual 5MP front-facing cameras that allow you to snap a 120 degree wide angle selfie. Yes, you can now toss your selfie stick. A 3000mAh removable battery keeps the lights on, and Android 5.1.1 is pre-installed.

Remember, Verizon has this deal going through the weekend only. If the LG V10 is on your radar screen. now might be the time for you to purchase the phablet and get yourself a good deal on the LG Tone Pro.

Says the troll who doesn't even own one, let alone even used one. No one takes what you say seriously Michrlle. Quit trolling and get a life already.

Yet here you are Britney responding because you're just that predictable. Cry me a river and get off my back. It's called voicing your opinion, stop getting your panties in a twist.

An opinion on a device you've never owned, used or even touched? That opinion is called horsesh*t Michelle. The only one predictable here is you with your incessant trolling of Android posts. You're pathetic and that's putting it nicely.

i think 400-450 is the manageable price to shell out for an underperforming product in terms of battery life, processor, etc.

After the promotion that samsung ran for holiday, most of these sound like a bad deal. I got the level on headphone, external battery with fast charge capability, and a wireless charger for buying the note 5.

Good deal on a great phone. Though the previous two deals were better.

I would really like to have a V10, but the same thing that kept me from buying most of the Android flagships this year is stopping me here: those crappy 2015 Qualcomm SoCs. I only bought a couple non-Samsung Android phones because the SoC is way too important to settle for a subpar choice.

Not sure what's so crappy about the 808, hasn't lagged on me nor overheated yet. I've only had a fantastic experience with this phone, doubly enhanced by the elimination of worry of both storage and battery, thanks to LG's free goodies. Now I haven't had to plug in the phone since I got the battery and cradle, and I have more than 200GB of space for whatever I want. I would still consider getting it if I were you.

I do a lot of mobile gaming when I travel and when I am off work, so the Adreno 418 is just not for me. The 430 in the 810 was better, but not much, and you can still tell the overall power for extended periods is off the mark. The A8X, A9, and Exynos 7420 have spoiled me, and I have no wish to go backwards.

Ah, I see, mobile games. I see why you would be wary. I, myself, have only a few of those at a time, and they don't usually hold my attention for long, so gaming performance is of little importance to me. I have a 3DS XL for my portable gaming, haha.

But there's no game in the Play Store which Adreno 418 can not handle.

I'm sure of that. I was just saying that gaming performance isn't too important to me so having the 808 isn't an issue for me, regardless if it underperforms or not. And how I understand why Napalm would be concerned about having the best SoC in the V10.

Never had a problem with the 808. Not on my G4 or my V10. Both run amazingly smooth with no overheating issues.
