Deal: All Microsoft Surface 3 models are currently on sale (up to $150 off)
If you didn't get the chance to buy a Microsoft Surface 3 while it was on sale in February and in January, you can do it now. Microsoft currently has deals on all Surface 3 models, allowing buyers in the US to save from $100 to $150 on any version of the tablet. In addition, if you purchase a Surface 3, you can get $30 off a Docking Station (which normally costs $199.99).

Here are the Surface 3 prices available now (until April 2, or while supplies last) from Microsoft Store:

  • 2 GB RAM, 64 GB internal memory, Wi-Fi only: $399 (down from $499)
  • 4 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory, Wi-Fi only: $449 (down from $599)
  • 2 GB RAM, 64 GB internal memory, Wi-Fi + LTE: $499 (down from $599)
  • 4 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory, Wi-Fi + LTE: $549 (down from $699)
Unlike the Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4 (which are more expensive 12-inch tablets that come with a Surface Pen by default), the Surface 3 is a 10.8-inch (1920 x 1280 pixels) slate for which you'll need to shed an additional $50 if you want a Surface Pen. Moreover, while the Pro line is powered by Intel i3, i5, or i7 processors, the Surface 3 relies on a less powerful quad-core Intel Atom x7-Z8700 processor. Go check out our Microsoft Surface 3 review if you want to find out more about the device.

Still not that great of a deal. Windows OS and just 2GB RAM, 64GB storage and WI-FI only, for 500 bucks... Thanks, but no thanks.

Depends on need, I have android tablet, I hardly use it but it's good for travel (media - videos, playing game, reading book, I own Nvidia shield tablet with controller and ipad air 2).

That's the sad reality of the tech world. Tge best doesn't always excel in userbase or sales. And the most popular devices aren't necessarily the best! Microsoft's Surface Pro - it's fanbase is nowhere near Apple's iPad.

Despite the fact that in most respects it's a better tablet.

Its heavier. x86 tablet is always heavier compare to a ARM tablet. I prefer using the lightest possible tablet for a given task. Android is versatile enough to do 80% of it. I have an Office 365 account and the whole office suite in my Note Pro 12.2

Does this mean the Surface 4 is coming soon?
