Asus ZenWatch 3 not available now in the U.S., but it can be purchased in Canada
The results of the recently held U.S. presidential election left many unhappy voters thinking about leaving the country and moving to Canada. As it turns out, there are other reasons for those in the states to head up north besides escaping the clutches of President-Elect Donald Trump. Yes, we're talking about the Android Wear powered Asus ZenWatch 3. The smartwatch sold out on Asus' U.S. website last month and stocks have yet to be replenished. However, the timepiece can now be purchased from Best Buy Canada.

Carrying a circular dial, the ZenWatch 3 carries a Gorilla Glass 3 protected 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 400 x 400 resolution. With its 340mAh battery, users will get 66 hours of use in a single charge, and HyperCharge allows the cell to charge up to 60% full in only 15-minutes. 512MB of RAM is on board along with 4GB of internal storage. Thanks to its IP67 certification rating, the timepiece can be submerged as deep as 3.2 feet for as long as 30-minutes, and still survive.

Voice command allows you to operate the watch by speaking to it, and a built-in speaker allows you to take calls. The ZenWatch 3 lets you to track the distance you've traveled and the amount of calories you've burned while exercising. The wearable will also track your sleeping habits. Pair to your smartphone to receive emails, weather forecasts and updates from your social media sites.

While the Asus ZenWatch 3 is expected to be available in the U.S. again very soon (Amazon lists November 20th and B&H says it will be available in the middle of this month), the timepiece can be bought at Best Buy stores in Canada right now for $349.99 CD (which converts to $258 USD). B&H Photo in the Big Apple plans on selling the ZenWatch 3 for $229.99 once it gets the device in stock. Pre-orders are being accepted by the electronics retailer.

Unless you don't mind paying roughly $30 USD more for the watch in Canada (not to mention the cost of traveling back and forth), your best bet is to just hold on for another week or so and wait for the Asus ZenWatch 3 to be offered in the U.S. once again.
